Autumn Equinox - Sept. 21st

Fruit Harvest

The Autumn Equinox is celebrated by the gathering of the Fruit harvest. Apples, blackberries and late summer fruits. Once again, thanks are given for the bounty of the Earth.

Now is the time to start creating the resources that you will be able to call on during the long winter months. Make jams, freeze fresh fruit, go apple picking and make some pies. Again, community is central to this festival - one cannot bring in a whole harvest by oneself - so work on those connections, celebrate those friendships you have, and work on yourself and your own contribution to your community.
